Spring Holiday Roundtable Planned
The Canton of Riverouge will “Medieval Spring Holidays Roundtable” on Sunday, March 21 at 2 pm in the Hawley Borough Building on Main Ave. in Hawley.
The Roundtable will include discussion on how people living in the Medieval period celebrated Lent, Easter and other holidays. There will also be an introductory lesson in the making of Pyzanky the beautiful multicolored Easter Eggs. Sometime called Ukrainan Eggs, they are claimed by cultures as diverse as Germany, Russia, and Czloslovakia.

Following the Roundtable the Canton will hold its regular meeting to discuss its upcoming events, including the Hawley Movies in the Park Medieval Movie Night, and an event for July
